Crimson Wellness Joins Gaston County Health Fairs to Honor Minority Mental Health Month

Posted on April 10th, 2025

At Crimson Wellness, we believe in meeting the community where healing begins—and we’re proud to announce that we are now an official vendor partner with Gaston County for two upcoming events that center health, wellness, and community empowerment!

Save the Date: Thursday, April 10, 2025
Gaston College Health Fair
Go Gaston Health Fair

We’re honored to stand alongside other community health advocates as we bring vital resources, conversation, and visibility to Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. These fairs are open to the public and designed to encourage education, connection, and access to mental and physical wellness services. We’ll be there providing information on culturally responsive care, peer support services, and strategies to support emotional well-being.

Why This Matters
Mental health is not one-size-fits-all. For many in Black, Brown, and underserved communities, the journey to mental wellness includes unique challenges—such as stigma, misdiagnosis, and barriers to culturally competent care. That’s why these events are more than health fairs—they’re platforms for equity, voice, and change.

What to Expect at the Crimson Wellness Table
• Live Q&A with our Peer Support and Clinical Team
• Free Mental Health Resource Kits
• Creative Expression Activities for Wellness
• Info on how to access services through Crimson Wellness
• Community Connection + Referral Network

Whether you’re just beginning your mental health journey or looking for support for someone you love, we invite you to come connect with us.

Together, let’s continue building a community where healing is inclusive, wellness is accessible, and every voice is heard.
